Sanitation & Wastewater Treatment

Making Wastewater Valuable In Rural India

Sanitation is a big problem in India where only 40% of faecal waste is treated properly. The rest impacts water sources through pollution as well as releases toxic gases. Most, rural people have no idea that poor sanitation is a threat to water quality due to industrial, agricultural, and waste disposal activities. Not only does Maataram recognise these difficulties existing and respond to these difficulties but is continuously working to bring safe water to rural areas.
